introduction of wheat flour mill systems

The wheat flour milling plant is mainly consisted by the following systems:

Bran mill, core mill, slag mill, tail mill and purifying system.

  1. Bran milling system is to strip the wheat kernels, scrape off wheat slag, core and coarse powder from the wheat bran, at the same time keep the bran from over broken, so that the wheat endosperm can fully separate from the bran, and extract a small amount of flour.

  2. Slag milling system is to process the slag from bran mill or other systems, so as to further separate endosperm from bran, and extract good quality wheat core and coarse powder, then deliver to core milling system for crushing into flour.

  3. Purifying system is to separate the wheat slag, core, coarse powder and bran flakes that are gained from other systems by the combined function of purifier sieving and winnowing, then deliver them to the relevant crushing systems for processing.

  4. Core milling system is to grind the wheat core and coarse power which come from bran milling, slag milling and purifying system into flour with a certain degree of fineness.

  5. Tail milling system is the middle-end section of the core milling system, which is specially for processing the low quality wheat core that contains bran particles, in order to extract wheat flour.
